Jeanne Briand
Biography
Jeanne Briand is a Paris-based set designer and set builder whose practice draws on her background in sculpture. Working across design, craft, and contemporary visual culture, she develops a wide range of projects, from editorial set design and image-making to spatial design, window displays, exhibitions, and furniture.
A 2015 graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, her approach is grounded in a sensitivity to material, texture, volume, and form. She has created commissioned work for Lemaire, MM6 Maison Margiela, Balmain, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Cartier, and The Row, as well as for publications including Acne Paper, D la Repubblica, Harper’s Bazaar France, Luncheon, M Le Monde, and Self Service.
