Léopold Duchemin
Stylist
Even before graduating from Duperre school in 2012, Leopold Duchemin engages in a practice he has been brooding over since childhood, striking the perfect balance between curated looks and bold artistic direction. After assisting Marie-Amelie Sauvé and interning at Vogue Homme International, he multiplies professional experiences while developing his own aesthetic in parallel. He leaves for London in 2012 where he works with Arena homme + and Pop magazine, then for Tokyo a few years later where he spends almost a year sharpening his styling skills, in his own name. He has since signed numerous editorials for Re-edition, SSAW, Purple, Perfect Magazine, Carcy, Interview Magazine. Currently based in Paris, Leopold is now a consultant for Balenciaga and Acne Studios men’s and women’s collections. Leopold thinks of images as concentrates, daguerreotypes of stories that have their own existence outside the frame.
