Marcus Cuffie is a stylist and consultant currently based in New York. Originally from Baltimore, Marcus moved to New York in 2010, graduating from Cooper Union in 2014 with a degree in fine art. Marcus made the transition to working in fashion shortly after, working for a year at Richardson Magazine. They worked as a freelance assistant for a period before working for stylist Emma Wyman as a first assistant during her time at Dazed Magazine and after. While working as an assistant Marcus continued producing their own work, building their voice while also learning professional skills through being on set. Marcus has gone on to work for Dazed Magazine, Marfa Journal, 032C, T Magazine, Luncheon, and Purple Magazine. For Marcus the joy of styling is getting to express one’s vision as an artist through the lens of different photographers, trying to find a cohesive voice through diverse means.
