Melissa Rouillé is a French-Ghanaian hair stylist based in Paris. Born in Kumasi, she grew up in her mother’s salon in Ghana, where traditions were passed down from generations. She has developed a passion for transforming and caring for all textures, recognizing that every hair type tells it’s own story. Inspired by timeless beauty found in archives, paintings, and sculptures, she views hairstyling as an expressive art form. These influences guide Rouille’s vision of creating enduring styles that transcend trends. This has led to collaborations with publications like Double Magazine, Document Journal among others, as well as brands such as Y/Project and Saint Laurent.
